About Us
Junora was established in May 2017 with a goal of bringing new technologies and capabilities to market for the manufacture of rotary sputtering targets used in thin film deposition processes. This includes our Continuous Micro Casting™ (CMC™) technology and our patented Flipcasting™ technology for production of rotatable sputtering targets.
Junora is currently offering planar and rotary targets in a wide variety of materials manufactured by more traditional manufacturing methods. The first shipment (rotary targets to Asia) occurred in October 2018. Junora has also added planar and short length rotary bonding capabilities along with ultrasonic inspection.

“Dear Mr. Plaisted:
Lockheed Martin Accelerated Materials & Product Development (AMPD) has been engaged with Junora LTD over
several years in support of our various thin film development efforts.
As we continue to develop and transition these efforts to products in our portfolio, we have ordered targets from Junora
LTD which have performed well. We have been extremely satisfied with not only the quality of the product Junora
continues to offer, but the willingness of the Junora team to “lean in” and come up with unique solutions that allows
us the opportunity to multipurpose components that would otherwise be end of life. The type of research and
development we routinely do demands this level of flexibility and Junora has answered the call each and every time.
We look forward to continuing our relationship with Junora as these efforts transition to production. The scaling of
Junora’s target fabricating capability will be extremely important to the success of these efforts, especially when
supply chain struggles have become all too prevalent.
